FAQ
+ How does bouldering work?
Block climbing is climbing without a rope, protected by a mattress floor. The goal is to go from the beginning to the end of a block.
- The start and finish are marked with colored triangles fixed to the wall.
- The color of the triangles indicates the degree of difficulty of the block.
- To begin, place both hands in the starting grip (there may be two starting grips).
- Make sure to use the same color sockets throughout the entire block. They are the same color as the starting sockets.
- You can also use "volumes". They are standard colors, similar to the wall, and have holes to attach sockets to. Volumes can be used on any block (like the wall).
- To complete a block, you must place both hands on the final grip (marked with a triangle of the same color as the start).
- Once you've completed the block, use the big gray jacks to drop down. Don't jump!
